2012 Connected Home Consumer Perception Survey
As this survey discloses, consumers are more inclined to use over-the-top service offerings, spend more time online, and are acquiring more in-home communication technology than they have in the past. They are also better informed on their service options, less inclined to pay premium prices for basic services, and are actively considering new ways of interacting. This year’s survey serves both as a warning of impending change and a call to arms for service providers and network operators to meet their consumers’ new expectations, before they go elsewhere to satisfy them.
