Maintaining quality levels and satisfying customers using complex products running across complex infrastructure is virtually impossible if each new product has its own OSS/BSS silo. There is value in focusing on the customer and looking at the business from the customer point-of-view. However, there is an economic issue that must also be considered. Traffic is exploding, costs are soaring, and revenues are stagnating. The need to collapse operational silos has never been more acute, and CSPs are struggling to find the best way to accomplish it.
