This Microelectronics TOE profiles profiles advancements in smart antennas, transistors, and chipsets. Innovations profiled include a switchable embedded antenna for wireless networking applications, a high voltage gallium nitride (GaN) field-effect transistor (FET), global navigation satellite system (GNSS) smart antennas for flexible positioning, and narrow band IoT chipset for extended coverage. The Microelectronics TechVision Opportunity Engine (TOE) captures global electronics-related innovations and developments on a weekly basis.
