A
survey by
Frost & Sullivan |
In 2007, Frost & Sullivan
conducted a Growth Survey. Among several interesting findings, the most
notable is the "Most Popular Management tools for Growth Tools &
Techniques". Overall, it appears that U.S. CEOs utilize many
different management tools to drive growth. However, the five most
popular – but not by much – management tools are: Strategic Partnering
(38%), Marketing Strategy (34%), Sales Strategy (30%), Strategic
Planning (26%), and New Product Launch (25%).

Innovation Games:
Playing to Win… |
|
Have you ever been on a TV game show?
If you’re involved in any aspect of innovation, you’re already on a
game show. Think about it. The stakes are high. Everybody’s

family members. If you win, you win big. If you lose, the moderator
smiles disingenuously and says, “Sorry…next contestant, please.”

Maximizing Sales
and Marketing for Business Growth |
|
Today it is all about growing the business. How do I get that top
line revenue increase that will fuel my organization? You have a
great product but the media has learned that negative news gets
attention. An endless bombardment of how terrible the economy is
followed up with a heaping tablespoon of how bad it’s going to be
fills the airwaves.

Select Emerging
Technologies for Growth, but Beware of the Pitfalls |
|
Investing
early in the life of a developing technology, while naturally risky,
can give the investing company a running start, the so-called
early-mover advantage, where the company creates advantage by
proving its technology to customers before others; receives
important patents to protect the work; or develops cutting edge
processes, devices, and materials that help it stay ahead.
