Matt Purdue, Editor-in-Chief, Mobile Enterprise Magazine

 

Matt Purdue is an award-winning writer, editor and journalist who has been covering the mobile computing, CRM and knowledge management markets for six years. In 1997 he led the launch of Sales & Field Force Automation magazine, guiding the publication's transition to Sales & Marketing Automation magazine and its current form, CRM Magazine. In 1999, Purdue directed the launch of Field Force Automation magazine as editor. He also oversaw the creation of destinationCRM.com and its sister Websites, destinationKM.com, destinationFFA.com and destinationEbusiness.com. His speaking engagements have included Comdex, the Sprint Wireless Business Symposium and RIM Wireless Enterprise Symposium. He is based in New York City.



Brent Iadarola, Industry Analyst,
Mobile Communications, Frost & Sullivan

 

As an Industry Analyst for Mobile Communications, Mr. Iadarola's primary responsibilities are to research and analyze emerging, next generation wireless technologies that enable the wireless Internet revolution. The scope of his work deals with all aspects of the mobile value chain; from delivery infrastructure and communication management to end user content/applications.  Mr. Iadarola is also responsible for representing Frost & Sullivan at industry conferences and analyst meetings.  He was recently a speaker on the topic of Location-based Services at the 2003 CTIA conference in New Orleans, LA.



Timothy S. McKenney, Chief Financial Officer, Innovative Business Software, Inc.


Timothy S. McKenney has served as as Chief Financial Officer of Innovative Business Software, Inc. (IBS) since joining the company in 1993.  He has been a member of the board of directors of IBS since February 2001.  Mr.McKenney received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and has a Masters of Science in Accounting from the
University of Texas at Dallas.

In the 1980's, the concept of the mass marketing of residential alarm systems was introduced.  IBS was formed in response to the growth in the security industry brought on by the mass marketing strategies.  The company was born out of, and continues to operate as, a software company with its roots in the security industry and is a worldwide leader in the alarm company software market.  Large and small companies alike are deploying IBS' software to capitalize on its security company foundation with IBS having doubled its customer base within the last two years.

 

 


Richard Stone, Wireless & Mobility Solutions Manager, HP
Americas


Richard Stone is Wireless & Mobility Solutions Manager for HP Americas. He has overall responsibility for HP Americas’ vision, strategy, and ‘Go To Market’ activities for end-to-end wireless solutions in North America. These solutions include scalable infrastructure and middleware components, wireless LANs and wireless WANs, access devices (such as laptops & iPAQ Pocket PC), ISV partners, and professional services engagements.

 

He joined Compaq in April,1998 as Retail Banking Manager in the Financial Industry Marketing Group in Compaq North America. He was responsible for the marketing and sales support of Compaq solutions into the top Retail Banks in North America.

Amy Ariel, VP Marketing, Orsus Solutions

Amy Ariel joined Orsus in 1999, building marketing and product management teams from the ground up. Today, Amy is responsible for Orsus' overall corporate and product marketing initiatives as well as driving an integrated communications strategy.

Prior to joining Orsus, Amy held a managerial role at Top Tier Software, based in Silicon Valley, where she managed technical communications teams for company products and marketing. Amy previously managed the technical publications department at Mercury Interactive.  Amy is a graduate of Columbia University in New York.

Orsus Solutions provides software products that mobilize the enterprise - to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve information flow. Currently in use by large field service organizations and global wireless carriers, Orsus’ products range from providing fast and usable remote and wireless access to corporate applications, to enabling the development, deployment, and management of highly customized field force and sales force mobile solutions. Matt leads consulting teams specializing in eBusiness & Mobile Solutions, Enterprise Management, Security, Storage Networking and Mission Critical Computing.  With over fifteen years of high tech industry experience, and executive roles in two Fast 500 companies, Matt has a wealth of knowledge regarding the technology and business life cycles.  His experience includes leading product businesses, consulting businesses, R&D organizations, customer support and instituting project management best practices.  Prior to starting his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Matt received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Honors from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.
