The 2009 South East Asia Industrial Awards is a direct outcome of the flagship Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Industrial Technologies Awards in 2008.

This Awards Banquet will recognize outstanding performance by companies in the RFID and Security, Electronics, Industrial Automation & Process Control, Energy & Power Systems, and Environment & Building Technologies industries, as well as new and emerging technologies across these industry sectors.

The inaugural Industrial Technologies Awards were held in Singapore in 2006 and recipients at Asia Pacific level were recognized at a well-attended banquet. The 2007 Industrial Technologies Awards saw the inclusion of awards for the Aerospace and Defence industry as well.

This year more than 30 award titles will be presented at an exciting evening banquet. The Awards banquet will be held on 2 April 2009 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The companies commended as Award recipients are those with the diligence, perseverance, innovation and dedication required to develop a successful business plan and excel in the increasingly competitive global marketplace. As ASEAN economies grow, companies will have to deliver increasing value to customers to stay as leaders. The Industrial Technologies Awards will continue to capture these efforts and recognize excellence in various industries each year.
