The Asia-Pacific cloud computing market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 28.4% during 2016–2022. Revenue grew 30.7% from 2015 to reach $11.34 billion in 2016. Cloud spending was dominated by Japan, Australia, and China in 2016. The key underlying theme across the markets is the increase in demand for managed cloud services. This arises due to Big Data and complex workloads being increasingly migrated to cloud platforms. In addition, enterprises are also turning to third-party service providers to better address their cloud security concerns.
