From a digital standpoint, healthcare in India has evolved in the last decade across both patient care and hospitals. Indian hospitals have invested in digital technologies such as social media platforms to interact with patients and build relationships, as well as in cloud platforms to maintain and keep track of health records and insurance transactions. Hospitals are starting to use analytics more rigorously for clinical and non-clinical data. Automation solutions are still in the proof-of-concept stage and are predominantly used in operations and other support functions but not directly in medical functions.
