Jay brings more than 40 years of leadership in competitive intelligence, product strategy, and executive management. For over 14 years, he has served as Director of Competitive Intelligence at Dell Technologies, helping drive more than $100B in annual revenue. His career spans executive roles across enterprise companies, high-growth firms, and startups, with global experience in sales, marketing, business development, and product management. Jay is a former Chairman of SCIP, a 2023 Fellow of the Council of Competitive Intelligence, a faculty member at the Academy of Competitive Intelligence, and a lecturer at SMU. He was recently named Co-Executive Director of SAICI, focused on applying AI to strategy and competitive insight.

Innovation leaders will get rare, behind-the-scenes access to one of the nation’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems at The Ohio State University.

The tour kicks off at the Honda Research Institute 99P Labs, where you will discover how The Ohio State University Center for Software Innovation is advancing the rapidly expanding digital economy. From there, you will tour OSU’s Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence to see how a mentor-driven, hands-on approach is shaping the next generation of manufacturing leaders.

You’ll also visit the OSU Artificially Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Lab to see how intelligent automation and open-source technologies are redefining modern manufacturing. The experience concludes at OSU’s Battery Cell R&D Center, where researchers are developing next-generation battery materials and manufacturing technologies to accelerate the transition to electrification.
