How to Find Research

Our Advanced Search helps you locate what you are looking for from all our published information, quickly and efficiently.

There are two ways to find Research Services: BROWSE CATEGORIES and ADVANCED SEARCH.

BROWSE CATEGORIES allows you to click through the complete 3-level hierarchy of our market categories so that you are shown all content within a specific focus area. This is a fast way to browse our analysis by sector and by date.

ADVANCED SEARCH allows you to perform a word-based search of the contents of our entire database with a wide range of filters to narrow the results you receive. You can even save your search criteria so that you can repeat it whenever you need to.

  • Boolean searching is supported, so you can use AND, OR, NOT.
  • Wildcards are not supported.
  • The search engine uses "stemming," so variations of words will be found.
  • The following characters are not allowed in a search string (unless surrounded by quotes) & : ; , . $ £ ! *.
  • Documents where your search terms were found will be highlighted in the full table of contents (TOC) page of research services.  Search terms are also highlighted in the body text of all search results.
  • Relevancy is based on number of keyword hits.
  • Searches can be saved from the Advanced Search screen to refer to later.
