Collaboration requires flat management

For most of the companies I cover, collaboration is the word of the century. All their efforts in developing or deploying communications technologies are directed at improving collaboration among employees, business partners and even customers. But collaboration itself isn't a new idea--and getting it to happen isn't easy. In yesterday's Times, you'll find a great article on how to enable collaboration in the workplace by flattening management across the organization.
