Frost & Sullivan's Growth Team Membership™ (GTM) recently completed its 2014 survey of corporate strategy executives. The executives were asked to identify their most pressing challenges for 2014. GTM will focus its best practices research to address the prominent issues identified in the survey.
For the second consecutive year, strategy executives cite balancing long-term plans with short-term profit goals as their top challenge. Other top challenges include ensuring strategies are adaptable and developing effective implementation plans. Initiative tracking efforts, the subject of this year's special interest section, are rated as average by most strategy executives, who list identifying and developing appropriate metrics as the top initiative tracking challenge.
