Amidst mounting pressures for fleet operators—financial, technological, regulatory, and operational—Fleetworthy is forging ahead with its innovation-led agenda. “To learn more, Frost & Sullivan’s Mugundhan Deenadayalan spoke with Tom Fogarty, CEO of Fleetworthy, on a wide range of topics, including the company’s growth and innovation strategies, key challenges, and the role of AI.”

Growth and Acquisitions

Frost & Sullivan: Since Insight Partners joined Susquehanna Growth Equity as investors in 2023, Fleetworthy has accelerated its growth through acquisitions and expansion opportunities. Which companies have you brought into the fold, and how have these additions strengthened Fleetworthy’s position as the only complete technology suite for fleet safety, compliance, toll management, and weigh station bypass?

Tom Fogarty: When we brought in Insight’s investment, we laid out a vision of creating a comprehensive technology solution to drive safety and efficiency for our clients. We evaluated the overall market and identified a handful of targets that would be ideal combination partners. Fleetworthy Solutions and Drivewyze were the top 2, and we had already established partnerships to offer our customers broader capabilities. We followed these deals with the citation management capabilities of Empire Commercial Services last year. In 2025, we acquired Haul to bring AI-enabled compliance into our suite and Commerce Logic to expand predictive tolling capabilities. Together, these strengthen our leadership in connecting safety, compliance, toll management, and bypass under one roof. Both moves reflect our strategy to make fleets safer, more compliant, and more efficient — not just for today, but for the future of fleet readiness.

Unified Advantage

Frost & Sullivan: Fleetworthy has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan for redefining fleet readiness by uniting safety, compliance, toll management, and weigh station bypass into a single suite. How do you integrate these services today to deliver measurable efficiency, cost savings, and risk reduction for fleets?

Tom Fogarty: Our suite is integrated across toll, bypass, and compliance, giving fleets one source of information and service offerings. For example, we’ve consolidated nationwide tolling into a single bill, extended weigh station bypass services with patented expedited inspections, and launched roadside inspection reporting through CPSuite. The result is fewer delays, more visibility, reduced costs, and stronger compliance — all through one connected experience.

Fleet Challenges

Frost & Sullivan: Our research has highlighted growing challenges for fleets, from rising compliance costs and nuclear verdict risks to driver shortages and unpredictable tolling expenses. How is Fleetworthy helping fleets overcome these hurdles to ensure complete fleet readiness?

Tom Fogarty: Fleets face a tough environment — costs continue to rise, regulations are shifting, and risk has never been higher. We help by providing visibility into toll and inspection data, automating vehicle and driver compliance tasks, and proactively identifying risks before they become violations. In short, we help customers go beyond compliance, giving fleets the tools to stay ahead and stay road ready.

AI & Future of Fleet Readiness

Frost & Sullivan: Fleetworthy is already deploying AI-enabled compliance and toll optimization across its suite. Looking ahead, how do you see artificial intelligence accelerating the evolution of fleet readiness, and where do you see the biggest opportunities for fleets to benefit?

Tom Fogarty: AI is a big component today and growing larger in our roadmap and product vision. With Haul, we can turn compliance data into proactive insights, and with Commerce Logic, we’re making toll forecasting smarter and more accurate. The biggest opportunity is a connected intelligence layer across safety, compliance, toll, and bypass — giving fleets predictive, real-time decision support that lowers costs and improves safety.

Growth Recognition

Frost & Sullivan: Fleetworthy achieved nearly 300% revenue growth from 2021 to 2024, earning a place on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies. What strategies have been most effective in driving this growth, and how will you sustain the momentum as a partner already trusted by 75% of the top fleets in North America?

Tom Fogarty: Our growth comes from listening to what fleets need and innovating quickly. Our clients include some of the largest and most sophisticated fleets, and they share what challenges they face and where they need help. For years they have trusted us for the industry’s best toll and weigh station bypass coverage, and they’ve asked us for broader compliance capabilities that directly reduce risk. Looking forward, we’ll sustain momentum through continued AI investment, deeper integrations with partners, and a relentless focus on helping fleets operate at their best.

Third-Party Integrations

Frost & Sullivan: Fleetworthy integrates with more than 40 leading telematics and ELD providers, creating a seamless connected experience for fleets. What does this level of interoperability mean for the average fleet customer in terms of efficiency, visibility, and control?

Tom Fogarty: Interoperability means fleets don’t have to choose between systems — Fleetworthy fits into the ecosystem they already use. Our recent toll integration with Motive is a good example: advanced toll insights flow directly into their telematics platform, giving fleets unified visibility. That level of efficiency saves time, improves accuracy, and gives fleets greater control over their operations.

Expansion Beyond Core

Frost & Sullivan: Fleetworthy has established itself as the industry’s only complete suite for safety, compliance, toll management, and weigh station bypass. Do you see opportunities to expand further into adjacent areas of fleet readiness, such as predictive tolling, expedited inspections, or new partnerships with state agencies?

Tom Fogarty: Yes. Predictive tolling and expedited inspections — supported by a newly granted U.S. patent — are examples of how we’re extending our impact. Partnerships with state agencies through Drivewyze by Fleetworthy are also creating smarter infrastructure and law enforcement solutions. These steps expand our definition of fleet readiness and keep us ahead of evolving fleet needs.

AI as Decision-Intelligence Platform

Frost & Sullivan: Frost & Sullivan has noted Fleetworthy’s momentum in AI investments. Could these initiatives evolve into a broader decision-intelligence platform for fleet operators — and if so, what needs to happen in the industry to bridge the gap between today’s solutions and that future state?

Tom Fogarty: That’s precisely where we’re headed. Our continuous innovation engine, combined with Haul and Commerce Logic serves to accelerate the foundation for a decision-intelligence platform. By uniting toll, compliance, bypass, GPS data and vehicle information, we can provide insights and actions customers can’t get anywhere else. For the industry, the next step is greater data interoperability and clear frameworks around AI in compliance. Fleetworthy is well positioned to lead that future, and Frost & Sullivan’s recognition underscores our role in shaping it.
